Incoloy 901 (N09901) Nickel Based Alloy Overview:
The Cr content in Incoloy 901 nickel-based alloy is usually 11.0-14.0%, and the nickel content is 40.0-45.00%. Incoloy 901 alloy is a nickel-based alloy containing molybdenum and copper, which has good hot and cold workability. Incoloy901 is an austenitic age-hardening alloy based on Fe-43Ni-12Cr, adding titanium, aluminum, and equivalent strengthening elements, and contains a small amount of boron and lower carbon. The metastable γ "[Ni3 (Ti, Al)] phase is dispersedly strengthened, and a small amount of aluminum can inhibit the conversion of γ "to the η-Ni3Ti phase.
Incoloy 901 alloy has high yield strength and long-lasting strength below 650 ºC, good oxidation resistance below 760 ºC, and stable structure for long-term use. This alloy is a relatively mature alloy developed in the early days. It is widely used to manufacture rotating discs (turbine discs, compressor discs, journals, etc.), static structural parts, and turbines for aviation and ground gas turbine engines operating below 650 ° C. Parts such as outer rings and fasteners.
